Gavin MacLeod has been acting for over 60 years. He has done films with some of the biggest stars in the history of show business: Cary Grant, Gregory Peck, Tony Curtis, Clint Eastwood, Bing Crosby, the list goes on. Gavin has also been a cast member in two of the most popular shows in the history of television playing a newsman on The Mary Tyler Moore and of course, the captain of The Love Boat.
However, in Gavin’s words, ”the biggest honor I have ever had was to play the role of Jonathan Sperry in this simple, but special film.”
